Do you need some help choosing the perfect location for your engagement session? I always love photographing Engagement Sessions – as well as a lot fun, they’re a great way to get to know my clients and for them to get to know me and how I work before their special day. 

I love when a couple chooses a location for their session that has special significance to them – maybe where you met, a first date or a special place you visit together. Gorgeous locations for your session include beaches, farms, forests and even city or urban environments.

Another thing to consider when planning your engagement session is what you intend to do with your images. If you are planning to display them at your wedding or include them in your invitations or save the dates this might effect the theme of the session. Wall art is another thing to think about – if you are true to your own style with your location and outfits often your engagement photographs will look stunning on your walls and compliment your decor.

Beautiful beach with the Sydney cityscape in the background at gorgeous Bradley’s Head. Angie and Charlie chose this location to incorporate their love of Sydney, the beach and the Australian bush into their session.

Peaceful country engagement session with horses – Kirsty and Chris love horses and I was super excited when she chose to incorporate her horses into their engagement session. The outdoors, animals and stunning late afternoon light!

Dion and Vidi love nature and are fans of my beach sunrise images, so I was stoked when they told me they were keen for a sunrise session at stunning Long Reef Beach! While sunrise sessions can be a challenge to get out of bed for, the secluded beaches and private sunrises are worth it!

Karina grew up in historical Berrima in the beautiful Southern Highlands, I was pretty happy to shoot her and Shaun’s engagement session here! With its historic buildings and gorgeous gardens, Berrima is a photographer’s dream!
