Central Australia – Trephina Gorge

After waking up at lovely John Hayes Rockhole (85 kilometres East of Alice Springs), and my exciting dawn adventure up the mountain, we headed down to the rock hole. There were bees all over the sand having their morning drink.

We then headed to Trephina Gorge a few kilometres away. Beautiful place, where I took these shots.

I loved this little guy; bowed his head, spread his tale and let me know with his interesting sounds he was pretty tough. Then after little time more emerged from different directions and slowly headed up the path and into the bushes.

Always nice when i find a new pink flower 🙂

I love all the seed pods here
